In December we visited Ardgowan Estate on the banks of the River Clyde in Scotland to find a huge fan of our Guillotine England Gilets. The estate has been in the hands of the Shaw Stewart family for over 600 years. The current owner Sir Ludovic Shaw Stewart takes his responsibility to safeguard the estate for future generations seriously and as such spends most of his waking hours promoting the Estate.
As you can imagine, Sir Ludovic spends as much time indoors and outside and needs quality clothing that will help him get on with his day. He first received a Guillotine England Club Gilet as a gift from his mother 5 years ago and has worn it regularly ever since. He loves that fact the fact he can wear them as both day wear and nightwear and for both formal and informal occasions. As you can see in the video, in the depths of winter he wears his Gilet over a T-shirt and under a jacket. The high Nehru collar hiding the T-shirt from view!
