The Balmoral

Few places in Britain carry the weight of tradition that Balmoral does, and few gilets carry it quite like this one. The Balmoral is our houndstooth merino, a gilet built for the kind of occasions where getting dressed properly still matters.

Woven from extra fine merino lambswool by Abraham Moon and Sons in Yorkshire in a classic beige, brown and navy houndstooth, it is paired with a navy inner Nehru collar and a royal blue habotai silk satin lining. Fuchsia piping runs around the inside hem, with the buttonhole colour matched to the collar. Dressed up or dressed down, it always looks the part.

Every gilet we make is designed around the lives we actually live, from the peg to the pub and everywhere in between. Our fabrics are sourced from the finest British mills, with our wool coming directly from Abraham Moon and Sons in Yorkshire.
