Inspired by long summers on the Cornish coast, the Charlestown Green is our most quietly confident summer gilet. The fern green Milton Canvas outer and pale green cotton and linen inner Nehru collar give it a freshness that works effortlessly from the harbour wall to the dinner table.
Light enough to roll into a weekend bag without a second thought and smart enough to make an impression when you arrive. Layer it over a linen shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a pair of neutral chinos and leather loafers and you are ready for whatever the day brings.

Guillotine was born in 2012 on a family farm in Chilmark, Wiltshire, deep in the heart of the English countryside. Every gilet we make is designed around the lives we actually live, from the peg to the pub and everywhere in between. Our fabrics are sourced from the finest British mills.

Nehru Detail
All of our gilets have either a soft moleskin or silk velvet inner Nehru collar which either complements or contrasts with the outer fabric.
Signature Buttonhole
The “pop” of a Guillotine signature buttonhole marks us out from the crowd with it’s contrasting thread it is a little reminder that we are different from the rest.
