The Shooting Brake Gilet in Brown
A hardwearing pure lambswool from Abraham Moon & Sons Mill in Yorkshire, with a choice of forest green or brown lambswool. Interlined with Thinsulate providing warmth without bulk and retaining its insulating ability even in damp conditions. Generous reinforced outside pockets with Alcantara welts for easy cartridge access. A waxed cotton sitting panel and thick cotton breathable lining. These are slightly longer in length and more generous in size to enable the wearer to put a thick jumper underneath. Please choose a size down from your usual size. The buttons are stitched through a strong gros-grain so that they cannot fall off.
Dry clean only
All of our gilets have either a soft moleskin or silk velvet inner Nehru collar which either complements or contrasts with the outer fabric.
The “pop” of a Guillotine signature buttonhole marks us out from the crowd with it’s contrasting thread it is a little reminder that we are different from the rest.
We source our merino and cashmere lambswool from Abraham Moon and Sons Mill. It was founded in 1837 and is one of the last remaining vertical woollen mills in Great Britain, with a reputation for consistent quality and innovative design.
