The Shooting Brake

£335

Built for the field and worn well beyond it. Our most technical gilet, the Shooting Brake has been cut with the serious Gun in mind, offering the freedom of movement needed for a clean swing and a confident follow-through, while looking every inch the part back at the lodge.

The outer is pure hardwearing lambswool from Abraham Moon and Sons in Yorkshire, interlined with Thinsulate for genuine warmth without bulk. It stays warm even when the weather turns damp, which out here it always does.

• Pure lambswool outer from Abraham Moon and Sons, Yorkshire
• Thinsulate interlining, warm and insulating even in wet conditions
• Reinforced outside pockets with moleskin welts for easy cartridge access
• Waxed cotton sitting panel
• Breathable cotton lining
• Signature Alcantara inner Nehru collar in mid-brown
• Guillotine signature contrast buttonhole
• Runs generous in size, ideal if you plan to layer underneath
• Made in Britain

Guillotine was born in 2012 on a family farm in Chilmark, Wiltshire, deep in the heart of the English countryside. Every gilet we make is designed around the lives we actually live, from the peg to the pub and everywhere in between. Our fabrics are sourced from the finest British mills, with our lambswool coming directly from Abraham Moon and Sons in Yorkshire.
